Mario Cianfarani is head of ETF capital markets for Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. Before joining Vanguard in June 2015, Mr. Cianfarani was a portfolio manager at a Canadian ETF provider, responsible for domestic and global equity ETFs and sector-based, North American covered call ETFs. Mr. Cianfarani has held senior trading and marketing positions with a number of Canadian capital markets teams. His experience includes trading equity derivatives and marketing derivative-related risk management solutions to a broad range of clients. Mr. Cianfarani earned a BA in applied mathematics from York University and is a CFA® charterholder.

Colin Stewart is a founding shareholder of JC Clark Ltd. and the Chief Executive Officer, and Portfolio Manager at the Firm. Colin has responsibility for the Firm’s investment team and also serves as the Portfolio Manager for the JC Clark Preservation Trust and the JC Clark Focused Opportunities Fund. Colin received a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1998 and is a CFA charterholder (2001). Colin began his career in the Corporate Finance division of CIBC World Markets and then joined Connor Clark & Co. where he worked alongside JC Clark founder John Clark as a Research Analyst.
Since 2012, Colin has been a Director of the Yellow Bus Foundation, a charity whose mandate is to enable children living with chronic illnesses or disadvantaged youth to enrich their lives by expanding their access to programming and support.
Colin is a member of the Toronto Chapter of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), the world’s premier peer network of chief executives and business leaders. He is also a member of the President’s Council of St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation in Toronto.

Jonathan is an Associate Portfolio Manager and Analyst for the North American equities team, responsible for the Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Health Care and Utilities sectors. He began his career at RBC Dominion Securities in 2002 and went on to join the RBC Wealth Management Generalist Program in 2009. Upon completion of the generalist program, Jonathan joined RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) in 2011. He was initially a member of the Investment Products Advisory Group, moving to an analyst position in 2012. Jonathan became a CFA charterholder in 2008 and was named Associate Portfolio Manager in 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Mark is responsible for overseeing the product suite for BMO ETFs, and also serves as an operational specialist to the BMO ETF team. He was previously a portfolio manager for ETFs, primarily responsible for fixed income. Mark has worked in the Exchange Traded Funds Industry since 2004. His past work has involved overseeing performance measurement at Mackenzie Financial Corp. and fund operations for BGI Canada at Investor’s Bank & Trust. He holds a BBA in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University, an MBA from York University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Paul Butcher is vice president of IR at Canadian National Railway (CN).
An economics graduate from the University of Montreal, Butcher started his career as an economist at Informetrica before joining CN in 1993 to work as a project officer in financial planning.
He subsequently moved to the marketing division, serving in the revenue planning, metals and minerals and intermodal groups and in 2009 was appointed senior IR manager.

Nisha is the Vice President of Investor Relations at Excellon Resources Inc. with over 10 years’ experience in investor relations, with particular focus on the resources sector. Daniel Oh was appointed Senior Vice President, Investor Engagement and Governance of Barrick in July of 2016, where he leads Barrick’s Investor Relations team and serves as a central point of contact for investor engagement on governance. He is responsible for building enduring partnerships with both new and existing shareholders, with a focus on heightened engagement and transparency and advises management and the Board of Directors on matters of corporate governance.
Daniel has more than 16 years of experience in a diverse range of roles, covering corporate governance, capital markets, accounting, investment valuation, portfolio management, and business strategy. Mr. Oh joined Barrick from BlackRock Inc., where he was Vice President, BlackRock Investment Stewardship.
In this role, Mr. Oh was responsible for advising BlackRock investment managers on the corporate governance and sustainability practices of more than 1,300 companies in the United States and Canada. He also led ongoing shareholder engagement with board members, senior executives, chief sustainability officers, general counsels, and corporate secretaries on behalf of BlackRock.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Oh worked in senior corporate governance roles at State Street Global Advisors and Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS). His earlier career includes both sell‐side and buyside equity research at Bear Stearns and Citigroup.
Mr. Oh earned a MA in international economics and international relations from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University and a BA from American University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Carol Hansell is the Founding Partner of Hansell LLP, providing expert independent legal and governance advice to boards of directors, shareholders, management teams and regulators. Her firm is regularly engaged on matters that include special committee mandates, board investigations, governance reviews and shareholder engagement.
Carol has extensive experience as a director. She currently serves on the board of Munich Reinsurance Company of Canada. She has served on a number of other boards, including the Bank of Canada, the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, the Global Risk Institute in Financial Institutions, the International Corporate Governance Network, Toronto East General Hospital, SickKids Foundation and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to her board service, Carol has been involved in governance education and thought leadership throughout her career. Most notably, Carol served as the only non-American Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section) and continues to serve as Special Canadian Advisor to the Corporate Laws Committee of the ABA. She has participated in the education of more than 5,000 directors as an instructor in the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program offered in Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors and the American College of Governance Counsel. She is also the Chair of the Business Law Advisory Council, appointed by the Province of Ontario.
Recently, Carol was awarded the Hennick Medal for career achievement from the Hennick Centre for Business and Law. She was also recognized as one of the top 25 most influential lawyers by Canadian Law Magazine and received the Lifetime Achievement Award in investor relations from IR Magazine.

Ms. Corbin is a subject matter expert and, with nearly 20 years of industry experience, is a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, boards and IR professionals. Presenting on the firm’s research and best practices, Rebecca serves as external speaker at corporate meetings, conferences and is a recurring guest on CNBC’s Squawk on the Street.

Brian C. Matt, CFA, is Director of Global Strategy and Innovation at Ipreo, a leading provider of market intelligence and technology to corporate issuers and investment banks around the world. Prior to founding Millani, Milla Craig worked for more than 15 years in the institutional equity markets for major Canadian financial institutions such as RBC Dominion Securities and Scotia Capital, where she was consistently ranked as a top-tier salesperson. Throughout her career, she has worked very closely with senior management and investor relations teams of Canadian publicly-listed companies, as well as financial analysts and investment managers of several Quebec pension and investment funds. Milla then moved to the field of ESG integration and corporate sustainability where she was also actively involved in the development of sustainability strategy, management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting for a variety of Canadian organizations in her role as Deloitte’s Leader – Sustainability, for the Quebec Region.

Prior to joining OTC Markets in October 2013, Jason was Managing Director and Segment Head at JP Morgan Chase responsible for the custody, clearing and collateral management business in the Corporate and Investment Bank division. Jason also held multiple senior management positions at BNY Mellon, most notably, as Head of M&A for the Financial Markets and Treasury Services Sector and 11 years as the Head of the Global Capital Markets Group in the Depositary Receipt Division.
