Tim Human, senior reporter, IR Magazine

Tim Human is senior reporter at IR Magazine. He rejoined the publication in 2019 after two years working as a freelance journalist for a range of international publications. Previously, he was editor of IR Magazine between 2013-2017. He has also written for Corporate SecretaryIR Magazine’s sister publication, and CorpComms, the UK-based magazine for corporate communications professionals.

 

William Tsang, head of research, Chartwell Capital
William holds dual responsibilities at Chartwell Capital as Head of Research and Portfolio Manager. As Head of Research, he manages Chartwell’s research process and the development of the team. As a Portfolio Manager, he plays a crucial role in stock selection.

Since joining the company in 2007, William has applied his training in engineering and computer science to develop and structure Chartwell’s proprietary valuation and research system— to leverage on human input and maximize efficiency in research analysis. William’s contribution towards research is his in-depth knowledge on the TMT and semiconductor sectors.

William, who is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, was born and raised in Hong Kong. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the United States.

 

Gabriel Wilson-Otto, director, sustainable investing, Fidelity International
Based in Hong Kong, Gabriel works closely with Fidelity’s investment professionals to integrate sustainability considerations into investment processes, develop proprietary sustainability ratings, identify long term sustainable investment trends and strategic opportunities, and represent Fidelity’s sustainable investment capabilities to clients.

Gabriel joined Fidelity in 2021 from BNP Paribas Asset Management where he was most recently Global Head of Sustainability Research. Prior to BNPP AM, he was an Executive Director in Goldman Sachs’ Global Investment Research division and Head of GS SUSTAIN for Asia.

Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) and a Bachelor of Information Systems from the University of Melbourne. He is a CFA charter holder.
